About The Fund
The HYVE Ethical Fund adopts an investment strategy which invests globally in a diversified portfolio of securities that meet the Shariah Compliant Principles of Investing. Securities are listed in well-recognised Shariah indices such as the MSCI ACWI Islamic Index (USD) and the FTSE Shariah Index.
The Fund uses a bottom-up, benchmark unaware and fundamental investment methodology; and adopts a long-term investment perspective with exposure to 30-60 high quality and well researched mid-to-large capitalization companies.
Fund Objective
The Fund seeks to achieve superior risk-adjusted returns through capital growth and a reliable income yield over the medium to long term. Its focus is to invest in the most attractive companies selected via the investment process.
The Fund aims to outperform the benchmark, MSCI ACWI Islamic Index (USD), whilst minimising the risk of permanent loss of capital. A secondary objective of the Fund is aiming to achieve a total return of 15% p.a before fees and taxes.
